About

I’ve been an technology enthusiast and Apple computer (and iOS device) user for two-and-a-half decades, including working in Apple resellers, from small Apple Centres with a dozen staff up to billion-dollar retailers. I have often worked as a technology consultant for small businesses, helping them get their computers organised and working for, not against them.

I was previously an admin for the largest Apple-related forum in Australia: MacTalk Australia and now administer Head-Fi.org, the largest community dedicated to headphone and portable audio. On MacTalk I ran both the server, including managing the software and on Head-Fi I’ve worked on both getting spam levels down to close to zero as well as writing guidance to both help members understand audio technology as well as good posting guidelines and information about the site to ensure the good sprit of the community can be maintained for many years to come.

After living in Sydney, Australia for 5 years (I’m originally from Canberra) I now live in Fukuoka, Japan, where, among other things, I have been the IT support admin for a local magazine.
