Interesting article. I assume you have a MobileMe account? My iTunes account is different from my MobileMe login (i’m still using my gmail account). So, when it comes to iCloud, are all of us that are still using gmail accounts as their login screwed?
That’s an interesting question. I have an Apple ID that uses the MobileMe account. However, I also use a GMail address for the Japan store, since I need to make purchases there. Apple would have to have some method of linking a MobileMe account and an iTunes account. I would guess you’ll have to enter both log-ins at signup.
For me, as I use my Australian store log-in for everything but a couple of Japanese apps and run the App Store updater, for example, at home when on wireless, it’s not going to be a problem for me for the most part.
